Star gawkers were hanging outside the Four Seasons Hotel Sunday hoping to catch a glimpse of George Clooney or Oprah Winfrey who were attending events for the Toronto International Film Festival.

Some younger fans were even scanning the entrances for the Jonas Brothers, who are staying at the hotel while filming a made-for-TV movie here. Those teens and tweens and many others also had Twilight on their mind.

They knew that actress Anna Kendrick, who plays Bella’s classmate, Jessica Stanley, in the Twilight series, was inside helping promote Clooney’s Up In The Air, which opens in theatres in December. That will be after New Moon, the second flick in the Twilight saga, opens to a great deal of anticipation in November.

The 24-year-old confirmed that she was spotted and celebrated when arriving at the hotel in the morning. That’s been a semi-regular event for her the past year and she’s trying to get accustomed to it.

“I feel like it’s hard sometimes,” she said. And sometimes, it becomes a privacy issue, especially when pictures of the cast on their days off in Vancouver — including some of Kendrick — were circulated on the Internet.

“That was a real creepy moment,” she said.

Still, Kendrick insisted she’s thrilled to be a part of the series, including Eclipse, which they are currently shooting in Vancouver. But while the attention from fans might be good for the ego, the singer and actress said her association with Twilight hasn’t helped her career all that much.

“I have yet to get a job because of Twilight,” she admitted.
